Houston White Camdentown Flats

A gathering place, business incubator, and welcoming home for all people, especially designed for Northside’s original residents - mostly comprised of people of color. 

LSE Architects designed this multi-level, mixed-use, phased project for Houston White, renowned designer, entrepreneur and innovator. Phase 1 features the barber shop and retail space for Houston’s Black Excellence Brand.

Phase 2 includes ten market rate housing units called The Camden Flats, tying in with the neighborhood and offering corporate business people who are new to the area a community that welcomes people of color to a vibrant place where they can thrive and put down roots. Phase 3 involves the roastery for Houston’s Get Down coffee brand
